MAHARISHI GARG
Belong to Dwapar yug. His ashram known as garg ashram which is now known as Gaigasoon villiage. The baptism of lord Krishna was performed in Gokul by MAHARISHI GARG. His famous literary composition is Gargsanhita related to Lord Krishna.
MULLAH DAUD
Belong to the period of Feroz Shah Tuglaq. He used to run a Pathshala at Dalmau. His famous hindi script is Chandaayan which is love story of chanda & lorik.
DAALABHYA RISHI
His ashram was on the bank of river Ganga in dalmau his composition is Dalabhyasanhita.
MALIK MOHAMMED JAISI
He belonged to the period of Sher Shah Suri. Among his 21 compositions Padmavat, Akhravat, Akhri kalam, Kahra Nama are famous.
PANDIT SUKH DEO MISHRA (1630-1703)
His famous compositions are Vratt Vichar, Chhand Vichar, Fazilali Prakash, Rasaardav, Shringaar Lata.
Pt. MAHAVEER PRASAD DWIVEDI (1900-1935)
He was born in a village Daulat pur in Raebareli. He is the father of Modern Hindi (Khari Boli) & was the editor of famous hindi magzine of that period Saraswati and has composed various prose and poetries. Which are still in the hindi curriculam of modern education.
ACHARYA MRITYUNJAY
His works are related to Sanskrit Vyakaran. For the publicity of Sanskrit language he established a Gurukul.
MAHA KAVI SURYA KANT TRIPATHI "NIRALA" (1897-1961)
He got inspiration of hindi poetries in his in-laws place Dalmau, though he was born in UNNAO. His famous compositions are Chaturi Chamar, Kulli Bhat, Aparaa, Ram ki Shakti Pooja, Saroj Smariti. There is a Nirala Memorial Institutes in his memory at Dalmau.
